Here is an interesting thing for .NET Developers - The compression algorithms for System.IO.Compression.DeflateStream and GZipStream have been rewritten by Microsoft now. The data that is already compressed is no longer inflated now. This results in much better compressions. Now there is no 4GB restriction on compression size.
