Industrial Training in Chandigarh in MNCs

Many students would wish to know the benefits or disadvantages about getting trained in an MNC during the six month industrial training. During my own college days I yearned for getting admission into one of the MNCs, after all it inspires excitement about visiting our dream work-place. But here is the factual position.

Purpose of the Training

Let us not lose sight of the real purpose behind industrial training from your point of view. You are a student with a purpose. You want to learn new technologies which your college teachers couldnot do proper justice to. If you are serious about learning, then an MNC is not the right place. Why ? Because in an MNC each employee is struggling with his own targets. He is so busy that he cannot even attend to his personal life, what to talk of attending you.

MNCs are Prospective Employers

Many students think that if they go for industrial training in an MNC, then they can have an opportunity of show-casing themselves, thereby improving chances of absorption in that MNC. Yet some of them think that at least they will be able to develop 'contacts'. To all this I say: Stop Imagining ! What do you want to showcase ? Do you yet have the knowledge and skill set ? And, what contacts ?

Do they Want You ?

A bitter reality is that almost all MNCs have now stopped taking college trainees. Each MNC now prefers to recruit them first and then train them according to their requirements.
